CII is a prominent Indian industry body with a direct membership of over 8,000 organizations.
Beginning on 10th March 2017, the course runs for a duration of 16 hours, spread over a series of eight two-hour webinar sessions.
The course starts by establishing a few fundamentals of instructional design, and describes what makes an effective and engaging learning experience. It then goes on to expand upon these elements, delving into the nuts-and-bolts of designing great solutions, providing plenty of examples along the way.
Some of the topics covered include, among others, understanding motivation and behavior change principles to design learning that sticks, using the 70:20:10 framework to consider the whole gamut of learning (formal, informal and social) when designing a learning solution, and practical ways to apply these concepts in a learning project. It touches upon good principles of design, and finally goes on to cover the different methods of evaluating effectiveness of a learning solution.
